California grill and Vertigo like sensations

I have always avoided CG because of the height and floor to ceiling windows. Has anyone had problems with the this? I really want to try CG but the fear of feeling dizzy and nauseous makes me nervous. Anybody have any suggestions. Thanks

Sorry no help, but I sympathize. I have the same issue so have avoided going. I can deal with the height but the floor to ceiling windows bother me sometimes.

I was never like that until I had my kids and it has been 17 years since the last one came along. I was a skier and did heights with no problem but the little darlings changed something and I am conscious of the fact I "could" have a problem with the windows now.

Most seating is well away from the windows. In fact, once people are seated, you'll be hard pressed to see below the level of the table tops.

Just make sure you are seated away from the windows. The window seats are pretty coveted. I doubt you will have a problem ensuring you do NOT get one.

Will waiting till after dark help? The darkness makes them look like black walls.

I'm terrified of heights, can't look over the railing on a flight of stairs & never look out of an airplane window til we've almost landed but I've been to CG several times (window tables) and never had a problem. I think if you get a table away from the windows & maybe sit with your back to them you should be fine. As pp said, after dark the windows just look like black walls.

If you would be willing to sit at the bar (you can order from the full menu there), you would have your back to the windows the entire time.
