California Grand Hotel

How far in advance do I need to book? I looked for Feb and it says they are all booked up. Seems like that time of year would have a few rooms open. I know it is a popular hotel but really???

Seems like you should be able to get in, unless there is a big convention at the same time you want a room.

I'd call and see what you can find out.

I just booked for the week before Christmas and had no problems.

Feb 18 or 19-22...we could do DLH but we decided since it isn't "all that" and it won't make our stay any more magical being old and such, that we would see how much DCG would cost us.

oh yes good calll...everyother place we have look still offers the cheaper rates so I wasn't even thinking about that. maybe crowds will be higher than we thought...hmmm

That's right, school will be out for the whole week I believe.

I'm very surprised that room for TGC weren't available. Were you going concierge? I booked Feb. 22-25 with no problem.

How did you check this? I would call the hotel direct and ask if you are running into trouble on the website. It did that to me, but there was plenty of availability.

tracer dont worry...alot of the time the site says that when its not available yet...they wont put those rates out for a couple of months yet....
