already?? I guess it's not long until it's everywhere then. Short summer and long winter........not good.

You poor people have the rottenest luck!:sad2:

Here in NE Alberta it's cold-ish (5-6 degrees with wind) but thankfully no snow yet. I'll have to call my buddy in Calgary and gloat a bit.;)

Surely it'll melt???:confused3

From our "tree farm lady" - the farmers have never seen the leaves fall as early as they have this year, never seen so few birds around in September, and the horses (even though the weather has been gorgeous) have very thick coats. All foreboading a really long, hard winter. Lucky for us we won't be here for two weeks of it!! :santa:

wow, do i feel for you...we are next door in bc, and are being very spoiled at the moment...yesterday we had frost on the ground, all the way to 22 degrees in the afternoon, t-shirt and capri weather..they are calling for this all week for us....i do sympathize as usually we get a few days of snow here, but last year we had snow on the ground for almost 7 weeks  Hoping we dont have a repeat of last winter!!!:rolleyes1

It was snowing here in Coventry yesterday. Thank god imma outta here!:yay:

Here in Ontario my ds' pony (and all the other horses at the barn) already have very thick coats so they have been saying it will be a very long, cold and snowy winter here too
