Cal Grill Bar?

We haven't been since the renovations a few years ago. Do they still have a lounge area with a bar?

They do. It’s fairly small and is right in the middle of the restaurant. It tends to fill up quickly but you can certainly ask at the podium on the 2nd floor if there’s any room. Your best strategy is to try to get there at open, which I believe is 4:30 ... but note they don’t serve food until the restaurant opens at 5.
