Has anyone gotten their wedding cake outside of Disney? Any recommendations? I am looking for someone who can make a cake without using fondant.

If you are having a Disney's Fairy Tale Wedding you will not be allowed to bring in a cake from an outside vendor.

Disney can do any kind of cake—it doesn't have to have fondant on it. Also, FYI, the fondant is usually removed from the cake slices before they are served. The cakes have a thick layer of buttercream underneath the fondant, so they just look like regular buttercream-frosted cake when you get them.

Lurkyloo is right, but if you are getting married outside of Disney...I highly recommend It's Tasty Too!! They did my wedding cake and it was amazing!!! They are also affordable too

I second It's Tasty Too! I haven't used them yet, but I just had my tasting with them (and honestly, their tasting cakes were way better than Disneys!) Anyways, I am using them for my groom's cake at my rehearsal dinner off property (I wanted it at my reception, but am not allowed to bring outside cakes in) and the pictures they have of their cakes are amazing!
