Cake in box or actual cake

Would you get one of the 6" special order cakes or 2 (one for each girl) of the princess jewellery box mini cakes, I expect the prices to be about the same $33 for the cake and $16 each for the boxes (we are already getting 1 special order cakes at Ariels and I will do this one at either Surfs up or Goofys)

We got a princess box cake a couple of years ago and it was not good. They are very small, the cake was dry, and the frosting was stiff like it was old. I would go with the custom big cake if I ever need a cake in DL again.
