Cake flavors

For all you past Disney brides and anyone who has done a taste testing already, what are your top two favorite cake fillings. I'm pretty sure we are going to go with a white or yellow cake, but all the fillings sound so yummy. These are the ones we have to choose from.....
Butter cream
Bavarian Cream
Chocolate Mousse
White Chocolate Mousse
Rasberry Mousse
Strawberry Mousse.

When DD got married at WDW 6 years ago, she had a cherry nut cake with Frangelica cream filling - I guess they don't offer this flavor anymore!!!! Her reception was at CG so maybe the choices were different there!

we are having bottom & top tier w/ choc. cake w/ choc. mouse & middle tier is marble cake w/cannoli cream filling. all the tiers are 8 layer cakes!

Bottom Layer - yellow sponge with white chocolate mousse and raspberries.
Middle Layer - chocolate sponge with dark chocolate mousse and raspberries.
Top Layer - yellow sponge white chocolate mousse and strawberries.

I really thought I was going to go with Bavarian cream before I got there for my planning session and we hadn't even asked to try white chocolate mousse but the piece of cake that our EM had brought us as the example, as well as all the other fillings, had the white choccy mousse and raspberries and we thought it was scrummy. I found the Bavarian cream quite a strong flavour as too the Amaretto Mousse.

We never did try the raspberry mousse although that had been on my list to try. Still we are happy with our choices for sure So much so that we are not serving dessert just cake - YUM !

We did a tier of white cake with white chocolate mousse and fresh raspberries, and there was also a tier of chocolate cake with chocolate mousse and strawberries. I never did try the chocolate - such a shame because I bet it was good!!! I loved our cake, and it actually did pretty well begin frozen and thawed for our anniversary...

We didn't do a tasting, but we had a chocolate cake with the strawberry filling and fresh strawberries. A lot of our guests said it was the best cake they've ever tasted and I have to agree - it was yummy!

We did a tasting, I was a pest and asked to taste ALL of the cake and filling flavors...and they had them all waiting for us!

Because of the cake we chose, it only has two layers, the bottom being rather large. So we picked our bottom layer to be lemon cake with rasperry mousse filing and fresh rasperries, our top layer is red velvet...fancy for chocolate...with cheescake mousse filling. We may add a fruit or chocolate pudding to that layer, we are undecided yet.

We picked buttercream frosting as well, my fave!

We customized one of their existing cakes, and I gave them the photo of how we wanted the flowers decorated on it. I think ours came to about $11.00 a slice as well, including the "cutting and plating fee".
