Cafe Mickey - Late dinner & characters

Hello everyone

Still thinking where we should eat on our first night at DLRP. We will be arriving at CDG around 7pm, got Ezyshuttle booked for pick up at/after 7.15pm then straight to Cheyenne. Initially we were thinking of booking for dinner at Chuck Wagon around 9pm but after reading the reviews dear hubby not particularly keen to have dinner there. Now we are thinking maybe we can do Cafe Mickey instead but wondering if 9-9.30pm is too late to see the characters? How long do they usually stay around?

the characters are out and about in Cafe Mickey every evening until well after 10pm .

The characters are there until 10.45, i asked when i was booking last week.

Another question if thats ok - which way is faster to get to the village from cheyenne at that time of evening? Shuttle or walking? We have not stayed at cheyenne before so not sure which way is better to get to the village.

you'll probably have to wait 5 or 10 minutes for a shuttle at the Cheyenne, and as Cafe Mickey is at the end of the Village nearest the HNY and the Cheyenne, you'd be quicker walking. But if you're not sure of the walk, in the dark when you first arrive you might be safer waiting for a shuttle then walking up through the Village to Cafe Mickey.
