Hi,

This may seem daft as its for my own birthday and it'll be quite a while after my actual birthday but anyways... i'm going to Disneyland in September and its kinda part of my 21st celebrations. I loved Cafe Mickey so much last time, it was great fun and i really want to go back but this time with a birthday treat.
I was just wondering how much it is for the cake, what cake do you get, do you get to keep whats left afterwards, is it very big (there is only 3 of us) and also do the characters come around your table to sing happy birthday or is it just the waiters?? I guess thats quite a few questions LOL.

Theres a picture of the cake and a full report of my wife's wonderful birthday celebration in my trippie. I think the cake was around £20 but worth every single penny. We didn't eat it on the night as we were stuffed, but they boxed it up for us. There is a use by date on the box which is about 2 weeks on. The chocolate on the cake was beautiful.

ooh yeah i remember reading that thread. Just had another look, really cool cake! I think a celebration there for my 21st is a must do now!! :cheer2:

Definately a cake would really make it special for you :thumbsup2

When we had DS's we were all so stuffed that we didn't even touch it, but our CM boxed it up with a new cake topper and candles so we could take it with us. :)

I would definitely go for the cake, we had one for DD7 and it was delicious. i thought it was great all the characters and waiters coming to dance around the table and sing Happy Birthday to her. I am seriously considering booking this for my own Birthday in May, even if I cant have the surprise factor.

Thanks Jill and angelamc, it's a definate yes now then for the cake lol. Wooo i cant wait. It'll be so much fun!

When we were in there 2 days ago they had 3 birthday cakes come out while we were there. Each time the waiters and the characters went over and clapped and encouraged everyone to sing along. Prince John had to run over 3 times from our side of the room to where the birthday people were and he was wiping his brow in an exaggerated manner when he came back for the third time. :)
They played the music each time and I guess they knew where the guests were from because one time it was Joyeaux Anniversaire they played and then the other times it was Happy Birthday.
