We were in New Orleans (the real one;) ) this past April and fell in love with the Cafe au Lait and beignets at Cafe du Monde. I know they have the beignets at POFQ, but do they serve cafe au lait, too?

I don't remember it being a choice ... I seem to recall the standard expresso and cappuchino (sp?). As a general rule, the coffee in WDW doesn't seem to be highly regarded, and it's mostly the same brand and types of drinks all over. So it probably isn't a big loss.

When we were there last June, there wasn't any cafe au lait. Maybe that's why I only had beignets once. They just weren't the same without it.

The beignets were good, though. I was actually surprised at how good they were.

DH and I also fell in love with the coffee (Cafe au Lait too) and beignets at Cafe Du Monde in the real French Quarter. We actually buy canned Cafe Du Monde coffee in one of our local grocery stores every week now. It is hard to find in PA, but this one grocery store actually carries it.

Anyway, everything I have seen so far pretty much confirms what others have already said here.....POFQ has the beignets, but don't expect much in the coffee department. We will probably pack some of our own Cafe Du Monde coffee and bring it with us for use in the room. And, we have also been told to bring our own coffee filters as well. I don't know, I might just pull a box together of items and ship it down ahead of time.

When we were in NOLA, I did buy several cans as well. Maybe I'll do like you and just bring some with me.:thumbsup2
