cadbury world visit

Hi all,

Just wanted to say we had a great day yesterday at cadbury world. Went with dd guides on a coach from the coach company I work for, haven't been on a long distance coach trip for years and it was great, no hassle with driving or trying to navigate myself!

Cadbury world was very interesting - I didn't realise the full history of it and the Bourneville site. However, the overwhelming smell of chocolate did put me off eating much of it! You get free chocolate bars and a few opportunities to have melted chocolate on fudge, marshmallows, popcorn, etc. - a bit sickly!!

I'd reccommend a trip though, very good (not disney of course!)

we went their in the summer as we live about 30 mins away. It's a lovely day out and i think you kind of understand it more as an adult. I can't believe what cadburys did to the town, providing schools, homes for all their employees, you wouldn't see much of that about nowadays.

Yep! I found it a great day out as well.....and all that liquid chocolate to sample.

I loved Cadbury World; Haven't been for a while but when I did it was fab!

its certainly a great day and resulted in a visit from the tag fairy in my case

DD went with the Grandparents earlier in the year and loved it. Don't think we will be having a family trip though as DH isn't allowed to eat chocolate anymore (on Drs orders)

We're only about 20 minutes from it and we love it too.

We have also visited the Hershey chocolate factory in Pensylvania (sp?) - good fun but their chocoalte is compared to our Cadbury stuff.
