Cable in the cabins?

Can any one tell me what kind of cable (as in TV channels) you get in the cabins?

It is Disney's cable very basic. It has all the local channels, CNN, Lifetime, ESPN, Radio Disney, Toon Disney, WDW tour, WDWtoday, Disney vacation club and cruise line, Historychannel, soapnet, Bet, Weather, CNBC, MSNBC, all channels in spanish too,and a German,Arab and Japan channel. This was taken from a list we were given a few years at checkin. Hope this helps.

You get the same channels as every other resort. In my exprience this is one area that does not get better with more $$ resorts. Not the best selection but not too bad either.

How many of you would like to see FoxNews offered in the free cable at FT Wilderness Campgrounds?

We just got back from a week stay. I noticed the cable was the worst ever! They use to have both lifetime networks. Its really annoying the way the chanels are set up-too much cross selling.
I am sure this is to try to bore people out of their rooms/rvs...however, when we are all paying good money especially in the cabins or deluxe hotels (who get the same crappy tv) we should not be a captive audience. I took my mother who is older now for a week trip to have a little get away. She gets tired now and so we do have to call it an early evening after dinner so we go back to resort and theres NOTHING on except very biased news channels or what I call cnn loop news. What about parents who might have to let their kids take a nap? Be sure to mention this when you get your survery cards about the poor tv selection!!!
Not to get political but I agree about FOX news. I imagine its the powers that be that would allow MSNBC to be available yet no fox.

Disney owns ABC so would have no driving interest in promoting a NBC owned station over any other. There are a lot of cable channels left out of the resort package, including TNT and Vs (another NBC owned station) which is a real pita if you happen to be there during playoff time and are a basketball or hockey fan.

Well, I alluded to it above in post #8.

Now at last the new cable channels are coming to the Fort. I guess cabins and campsites both.
