I grew up at the Fort but have been staying at other resorts since I have gotten married. I would love to plan a trip back!
I remember years ago that there were a few small cabins that you had to provide your own linens for. If I remember correctly they were just basically small buildings with beds.
Do these still exist?

I don't thinks so -- the cabins are basically nice comfy one bedroom log-sided modulars with a bath and a kitchen (also with a pull-down bed in the living room) and you get daily mousekeeping. A real step up from your average hotel room. :-)

Thats where I stayed with my family. We loved those, but they are really pricey.

Maybe I'm completely mistaken (or made it up in my head) :) I really thought there was a less expensive alternative to the big cabins. Oh well.... Thanks for the reply.

Unless I'm completely mistaken, at one point in time the Fort did have cabins like you remember. I don't think they were around for an extended period of time?

Now, the cabins are much nicer. Something like what the PP described. :)

OK - Well at least I now know I didn't make it up. =)
