Cabins on 100 loop

Hi-

I'm on the phone with Disney reservations right now :woohoo:, and I'm trying to make a reservation for a campsite and a cabin to accomodate our party of campers and non-campers.

I stayed last year in the 200 loop and while we were wandering around the 100 loop next door we noticed several cabins which appeared to be totally normal and rented out to guest. I thought this would be the perfect solution for our group and mentioned the loop to the reservation agent. She told me that there are no cabins in the 100 loop and I can't reserve a cabin there.

What's the deal? I'm pretty sure I'm not losing my mind and those cabins do exist. So ????

I recall a post on this awhile back. My memory is rather fuzzy at the moment, but I think that the cabin(s) that you are referring to are used for management or something. At any rate, I believe that they are not rented to the general public.

They must be used for "special people" or CM.

We tried to get my parents a cabin there last month since we were staying in the 700 loop in our camper but was told cabins start in the 2100 loop.

A few things for you to realize:

1. The people who answer the phone for the central reservation line are not even at WDW, and many of them have probably never set foot in Fort Wilderness.

2. There are definitely two cabins in the 100 loop. But they cannot be reserved, and are generally only used by VIPS (I know a VIP who stayed in one once).

3. There are several cabins and campsites in the 2100 loop and 1100 loop which back up to each other. This was addressed in this post:

Your post is kind of off topic for this thread, but I will go ahead and answer your question. The only cabin loop that backs up to a camping loop is the 2100 loop. It backs up to the 1100 loop. Here is a thread with some photos:

Cabins close to campsites

The specific sites on 1100 that back up to cabins are: 1111, 1113, 1115, 1116, 1117, 1119 and 1120. The cabins that back up to these sites, more or less, are 2124, 2126, 2128, 2130, 2132, 2134 and 2135. I gave those to you in order, so the matching pairs are 1111 and 2124, etc. 1120 and 2135 sit right next to a paved sidewalk that leads to a comfort station that sits between the two loops. But, as you can see from the photos on thread that I posted the link for, you can easily walk between the cabins and the sites. In order to request a site in the 1100 loop, you would have to reserve a premium site. In case you haven't read it somewhere on here before, all you can do is request to be placed close together. They cannot and will not promise that you will be close together or assigned to particular cabins or campsites. Good luck, and have fun!

You are right about 1100. No sites on 1000 back up to cabin sites. There is a canal behind the 1000 loop that cuts it off from the neighboring 2000 and 2100 loops. There are two cabins in the 100 loop, but these cannot be reserved.

A Disboard regular was able to arrange a campsite and cabin combo earlier this year.

That is what you should work toward.

Good luck!

My dad got one of the 100 loop cabins a few years ago after arguing w/the person at Disney Ressies that there were in fact 2 cabins in 100 loop! Those 2 cabins are reserved for VIP's and NOT usually available to the public. (I suposed the CM at WDW ressies was not aware of that point.) KFD pouted when he couldn't get it the following year. :lmao:

I'm too lazy to look. What are the sites in the 1100 loop considered...premium or preferred? Can the handle a larger RV?

We'll be at FW with my parents and maybe we could request these sites,

The rooms are for VIP's but we were able to get one of the rooms, it I remember it right I'm sure our room was 118.
