My grandchildren want to stay in the cabins this summer but I don't know if I will be able to get around with my scooter. I have difficulty with steps. Do some cabins have ramps? If not how many steps are there? If I can't take my scooter inside, is there a place outside to leave where it will be safe, not in the rain and a place where I will be able to charge the battery? I
appreciate your input. Thanks

AllEars.net has a paragraph on accessible FW Cabins. They must have a ramp because there are pictures of an accessible picnic table on the deck, as well as pictures of the wider inside hallway, and the roll-in shower.

On this page, entitled, "Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground Fact Sheet," scroll down to paragraph marked "Are There Accessible Cabins"

On this page, entitled, "Fort Wilderness Campground Photos," scroll down to "Fort Wilderness Accessible Cabins" for pictures. There are also other pictures you can look at on this page, to get a fuller idea of what the cabins and the campground look like.

We have stayed at the accessible cabins quite a few years ago
Some are ramped and have plenty of room to get around!
Husband uses a power wheelchair and enjoyed them!
