Anyone ever sailed in cabin 6006 on the Dream ? I was just assigned it and wanted to get an opinion of it as well as pixs.

I know it is is a HA connecting unit and that it is underneath. Vibe.

Vibe is on deck 5 but looks like noise reports from speakers in the wall. Room reports are here. Be sure you just look at the ones for the Dream/Fantasy. You can also google for the room. If you booked a GTY and were just assigned this room, bring a white noise machine or ear plugs. With GTYs you agree to take what you are assigned when you book it.

I UNDERSTAND about a GTY assignment. However, this was the result of a date change I made to a cruise that I booked a year ago with an assigned cabin. It is the luck of the draw. I did review the cabin reviews on the attached link earlier, however I wanted something RECENT.

Staying in this cabin on fantasy & havent been able to find much more then what PP had posted. Would be interested in your thought when you get back. Enjoy your cruise.

I stayed in 8006 and it was wonderful. There is alot of space in this room. The only two downsides to this room are that it is in the front of the ship so there is a decent amount of walking and that whenver you pull inot or leave port the room will shake a little bit from the bow thrusters. Here is a picture of 8006 to get an idea. In the picture you can see a small pole behind the bed and in 7006 the is a pole in the middle of the room so it might be that way in 6006 as well.

We have also had 8006 and 8504 a few times on Dream/Fantasy and I feel it is much LESS walking to get anywhere....mainly because the forward elevators are much closer to the mid-ship elevators than the aft elevators are to the mid-ship elevators.

We once visited an aft cabin and I felt like I was walking forever!!! I love being all the way forward!!!

I guess a lot depends on where you are going...the only time we needed to go aft was for food and it never felt long to get there as we always walked a public deck to get anywhere. Walking the length of the ship in a passenger cabin hallway is the never ending walk!!!

After pondering a bit about this HA/ connecting room that someone might need, I contacted my TA ,who contacted DCL, who promptly changed my room when they understood we did not require a HA room.

Our new room is 8006, which looks like a great fit.

Thank you for the information and picture .

This is actually not true! You can change a guarantee. That is what I am trying to decide to do right now. You just have yo pay the price difference.

Disney Dream cabin 6006 handicap accessible. My honest review, great big space. It's pretty noisy, loud during the night. However once you fall asleep you won't hear it anymore...lol
