Cabana drinks question

A friend of mine is going to try and get a cabana for his family (yes, I have warned him of the low odds) and is not Concierge. His family would likely only drink the water and Diet Coke from the fridge, and he was curious if there is a way for a non-Concierge guest lucky enough to get a cabana to make such a request beforehand so the fridge isn't stocked with things they will not drink. I told him I did not know but I would ask the experts.

Anyone know?

I bet they will give him what he drinks or at least bring more of what they run out of.
When we are all 8 of us in a cabana, the host has come in mid day to check and has brought more water to us in the past.
Just ring the bell...... The hosts are great and accommodating.

The cabana fridges are pre-stocked. The host/hostess will bring more beverages as needed.

They are at the family beach. At Serenity Bay? Not so much. More like virtually non-existent.

It has been hit or miss on SB, but when its just the 2 of us, we really have no need for them to come by.

We have had cabanas twice, once concierge and once not. Both on Family Beach. Both times couldn't get anyone to answer the call button. Never had anyone come by after 10 am. I asked for only water and Diet Coke and got the standard setup in the fridge. Had to run down a bar server on the beach to get a cocktail. It was nice having the cabana but the service sucked.

We have not had trouble with cabana service, family beach, once concierge, once not. However, just roaming bartenders on the beach have given us the best service. My DH wanted a scotch and ordered a certain kind. The bartender went back and forth, hot day/sand to us to make sure whatever they had on the island would be fine. Needless to say, he received a generous tip and a very big thank you.
