I heard that CB guest can circumvent baggage check at Citywalk, by walking to sapphire falls and taking a boat to Citywalk. Does anyone know more about how this works? I assume it is easy to get between resorts by walking path but I've never done it. I think I saw a post about this somewhere but now I can't find it. Thank you for your help!

There is a walking path from CB to SF. You will do baggage check at the boat dock.

Yes you will do baggage check one place or the other and it didn't take long either place.

No way out of going through security. Thank goodness!
The crowd at CityWalk may be higher than via boat or walking path as all day guests are funneled that way vs just hotel guests.

IMO, it's not really worth the time saved in security line by taking the "shortcut" (any walking saved is added on to get across the street and through Sapphire Falls). I've never waited more than a couple of minutes at the main security area (I don't go at the worst times, either park open or late afternoon) Just my opinion though.

We have done both options from CB. Bus and boat were both clocked at about the same amount of time. Less wait time to get on bus at CB, but longer walks from garage to CW. Longer wait for boat at SF, but drops you off closer to park entrances.

Don't take the official 'walking path' though. It doesn't get you to the SF boat dock. Go from the road entrance of CB lobby, across the street, then up to lobby of SF. Walk down stairs and out back door to boat dock.

That's how I would do it...some here don't promote walking across the street...

Last August, I have clocked the bus drive time from CBBR to CW, and it was 5 minutes and a few seconds.
We stayed there for 2 weeks, and I can't remember a time when we needed to wait for the bus. Most of the time a bus was waiting at the stop, and when it wasn't there, a bus would pull up into the hotel as we exited the lobby. (okay, we might have waited a couple of minutes on occasions)

Taking the bus and getting to CW took us less time than crossing the road, walking up to SF lobby, taking the stairs down and exiting to the boat dock.
Clearing Security at the boat dock can be done while waiting for the boat, but hardly takes less time than clearing security at CW (and if it's a busy time, you're not even guaranteed to be able to board the 1st boat in)

bottomline, we were already on the moving walkways at CW before we would even have had boarded the boat at SF.
Factor in the time on the boat, and, well ... I guess it would be a tie, or even a win for CBBR bus.
