Cabana bay family suites

hello! Where are the exterior entry family suite located at cabana Bay? I don’t love elevators and wanted to request a low floor.

Also-what’s the difference between exterior and interior entry?

The exterior suites are located around the Cabana Courtyard in the Castaway, Thunderbird and Starlight buildings. If you wanted to book in the tower the family suites are in Continental and have interior entry. You could always request to be on the same floor as the main lobby in Continental and then you would not need to use the elevator. Hope this helps :)

We stayed in a ground floor Family Suite in the Starlight building and it was great. The only suites that have interior entries are the ones in the tower, the rest are exterior entries.

Also, the poolside exterior entry rooms in the Castaway, Thunderbird, and Starlight buildings have windows on the entry side and none in the bedroom area. The interior entry rooms are the opposite. We stayed in a poolside exterior entry and really enjoyed it! Having no windows in the bedroom had its pros and cons. Great to sleep but seemed darker and smaller than if it had windows. The exterior entry made it feel more like an old school motel, which we really enjoyed. If you call the resort prior to you arrival, they should be able to put a note on your reservation regarding the no elevators/low-floor request.
