Cabana at Yacht Club - doubting myself now?

I have booked a cabana at YC in September (still hoping Joe will give us the go ahead to travel from UK!). I asked the CM if I could choose cabana 3 or 4 but she said no.

Does anyone know if we can make a request when we check into the hotel please?

Someone on a Facebook group has said that these cabanas are noisy, not relaxing, because its near the zero entry pool area and is full of kids. Can anyone confirm this please? I knew it was near that area but presumed that the area would be cordoned off and also hoped that cabana 3 & 4 would be quieter.

I would really appreciate it if anyone has used these cabanas and can offer some reassurance please? Or should we cancel and find a quieter spot in another area at Stormalong Bay?

(Don't get me wrong, I know there will be plenty of kids around, but don't want them under my feet!) Thanks

One of the four cabanas opens out to the sandy kids pool. Two of them are more secluded. The area isn't usually noisy, since it is far away from the pool party noise. There isn't any area that is quieter at Storm Along Bay. We usually sit near the cabanas because it is quiet there. There may be the random day when a big group of kids get noisy, but most of the time the sandy pool is filled with young children who like to play in the sand.

By the way - it isn't a zero entry pool. It is a shallow pool with a sandy bottom.

We have a cabana reserved for the end of July and we booked number 4 at the time. We like this one as sits back from the pool a little bit.

We stayed at a cabana there a couple years ago when they were testing them out, I believe it was the one closest to the pool. It was still awesome and relaxing, definitely recommend them
