Cab fare from LAX to Santa Monica?

Can anyone give me an idea of how much cab fare should cost from LAX to Santa Monica? It'll be for late morning on a weekday.
 
I've done it a few times, and it's ended up right around $50, sometimes a little less (depends on tip).
