cab fare between resorts?

I am leaning toward taking a cab from BWV to the Poly, our first resort switch. We'll be getting to the Poly by 1:30 and when we were there in December, our room was ready then. Also, a lot of that day is planned for just enjoying the resort--water mice, swimming,etc.--so I don't want to be waiting on our luggage all day.
Anyone know how much cab fare would be?
Also, DH wants to take our stuff on a bus to TTC and walk it over--definately the cheapest way out. Has anyone ever schlepped all their stuff on a bus?

It's been a while but I think when we took a taxi to WL from the BWI it was approximately $11.00.

Go for the taxi ;)
Who wants to be dragging all that luggage on the bus.
Just imagine all the looks you will be getting from the other riders if the bus is full. yikes!

I thought that when you switch on-site resorts that they would transfer your bags for you. If this is accurate why not let them do the work for you?

Big OOOPPPS. Just reread your post. Take a cab. Have a great time!

I would take a small carry on with all the stuff you needed for the day and take the bus and let WDW transport the rest.

We took a cab from the BWI to the GF one night. It was about $10, and it was very definately worth it in our opinion because it was so easy. I think it would be a huge pain to carry all your stuff on the bus. We're switching resorts this year, and fortunately we have our own car so we'll move our own luggage, but if we didn't we would definately get a cab - my SO doesn't trust other people with his luggage so we can't let Disney do it!
