Apparently this is being permanently closed. Any idea why, or if anything is replacing it? The kids were really looking forward to this.

I don't know. We had included it in our AK touring plan, when I signed in today there was a note that it was going to be permanently closed by that date (end of June).

I don't know how I missed this on KtP site. This was easily one of my kids favorite things about our trip last year. Ironically I was bummed we were going to have to skip it this year due to time constraints, so I guess this takes the sting out of it since it wont be there anyway. Bummer, seemed like a perfect fit for the park and keeping some in the park later while meeting typically rare characters.

Sorry to see it go -- definitely a great way to see some pretty unusual characters, but hopefully as AK continues to improve, they will keep some focus on characters, too, one way or another.
