Do the refurbished BWV have a trundle bed in the studios? I thought I saw somewhere that they did but can't remember.

Are the Murphy beds big enough for an adult or are they really kid-sized?

I'm wondering this too. Was thinking of having my 6 foot tall brother sleep there and now seeing the pictures I'm thinking that's not going to be possible.

They are slightly smaller than a regular twin bed. Im not sure a 6ft person would enjoy it.

Doesn't look like he'd be very comfy there We're thinking of BWV for a girls trip, and I'm pretty petite - might have a better shot!

Some have replied that their 6' tall person had slept very comfortably on the bed. I've had DH lay down on it and he could sleep if he didn't move. I've laid down on them 5'5" and also figured I could sleep but it's rather like a twin bunk bed size - shorter and it's also more narrow.

Anyone know how they compare to the day beds at the Poly? I know I'd have been fine on one of those, but I can't recall if they were actually twin sized.

My DD13 has slept on the Murphy bed at both GFV and BWV. She is 5'1 and 95 lbs (ballerina and all legs slim physique) and the bed size works for her. In fact, she enjoys the character theming and will fit her 10 year old brother to sleep there! She's already called "dibs" on the Bambi Murphy bed for VWL when we check in Aug. 2nd.

I'm 5'2" (though a bit more than 95 lbs 8-) ). I bet I'd be fine with it.

I might try them soon. My wife kicks, snores, flops and generally makes me want to use the Murphy. Be nice if they put one out on the balcony as well. :tigger:

The murphy bed is narrower than a standard twin (and shorter, too).

When touring the PVB bungalows a guy we didn't know was hearing my conversation with DH about whether an adult could sleep there. He said he was 6'2" and laid down on the bed. He filled it completely. But he said he thought he could sleep there. And the ASA (CM) that was watching the whole thing said it was built to hold the weight of an adult.

I still cannot see me sleeping on the murphy bed. I have a tendency to turn over a fair amount and sometimes sit up during the night. Also the mattress is fairly thin compared to a bed mattress so it would definitely feel hard.
