I have been unable to use the search function today, and that is why I am posting this as a thread. I am sure these questions have been answered many times and I apologize for asking them again.

I am a BWV owner. I've stayed several times with preferred/pool view with the family and have enjoyed our views and locations each time. I will be traveling solo on a couple of trips, however, and wanted to seek advice/opinions.

For trip #1, my waitlist for a boardwalk view studio just came through. I have no working knowledge as to where the studios are located and hope to get the most from this, so can anyone offer suggestions as to general room requests. I am thinking upper floor, but don't know what else as far as trying to get good views of the EPCOT fireworks, etc.

Trip #2 will be for the 2009 WDW marathon weekend. I plan to participate in some of the events and will probably try to shoot for early to bed (as the buses start leaving for the 6:00AM start at 3:00AM). Thus, I am thinking the quieter the area, the better. If I can book it, would a standard view with a request for a view of the Green corelate to a quieter area?

Any suggestions/opinions would be appreciated.

You will find studios in all areas....all floors. They aren't going to be in any specific area.
There are no standard views on the Village Green..they are preferred views. I've stayed overlooking the Green twice now, on the 5th floor, and on the 5th floor boardwalk as well as 3rd floor boardwalk view. They have all been quiet. I would imagine that the closer you get to ground level the noisier it will be.
