BWV standard vs prefered view

After doing a bit of searching (and getting sidetracked on a lot of interesting threads), just decided to post the question!

For the VILLAS, what kind of view do you get with a standard view. I know when I run the numbers for the gang and tell them a prefered view will total out at $220-280 more for our trip some will want to know 'what they are stuck with if we go cheaper' and others will want to justify 'going whole hog'. We will be in a 2 bedroom, if that makes a difference.

Pretty basically, the standard views are of the entrance to the resort. The villas look out on the drive coming in, out towards Epcot.
Preferred views will be of the pool, waterways or the gardens. Boardwalk view is, of course, over the boardwalk area, but is reserved for DVC guests.
