BWV Standard View question?

I know that the are not many standard views in BWV and that there is also not a lot of choice when putting in special requests but I have not stayed at the boardwalk before.

I have already requested nonsmoking and close to an evaluator but wanted any ideas. Are there any choices of views at all i.e. parking lot verses open area or any other special requests I could ask for my room assignment to make it a special trip?

Close to the elevator will give you a view of the entrance where the valets are. Midway down the hall will give you the grass & driveway & bus stop. At the end of the hall is a view of either the fountain and pond or the tennis courts. The ones at the far end across from the tennis courts may give you a partial MGM view. You can see the parking lot from the end rooms but it is far enough not to be bad. You can see the high fireworks from Illuminations from most of the standard views. We stayed on the corner above the fountain last year, as I requested. It was a nice view but far from the elevators. A tree partially blocked the fireworks. This year all I requested was fireworks view, we'll see what we get.
