BWV Standard 2BD View

Our first waitlist for a standard view 2BDR at BWV came through for our Sept visit. We are now on the waitlist for a Boardwalk view. In case we don't get a 2B Boardwalk view, any recommendations on better room choices for the Standard view? I know there are no guarantees when requesting a room. I know they are facing the parking lot and portico.

If anyone has the fax number for room requests, I would appreciate it. Also, is 7 days out a good time to contact them?

If a long walk from the elevator is not a problem, I like the park-like view the standard view villas have “near tennis courts.” They’re on the very last wing and are the closest to DHS. If you can take the stairs down, out the door on the end, you find yourself halfway there!

I usually send in my requests via email as soon as I book the room, on the theory that if someone else requests the same, the earlier request will be granted. My understanding is that rooms are assigned about 5 days before checkin, so 7 days out should be okay.
