BWV slide closed for rehab starting Feb7/11

Just got a letter yesterday stating that the slide would be closed for rehab beginning Feb 7/11 with no specific end date. They are offering the shuttle to SAB for those wanting a slide. I was not too disappointed. The pool will still be able to be used, so that's good. And we get to go over to SAB and use it if we'd like. The only concern I have is that we are going in Feb. and it will likely be a little chilly going over to SAB to swim unless we get really lucky with the weather.

Wondering if anyone that might have gone through this before can offer any advice or comments?

Beach Club's is closed in january...so the reverse is true while we'll be there.

to be honest- don't worry about it. The chances of you using a slide is far from certain in the winter...and if its really nice and you want to use it...you can walk over to beach.
Florida is DUE for a "hot" winter...the last 2 have been some of the coldest in recorded history (since the american civil war)...so if that be the case...you'll figure it out as you go.

If it's 65-70 (seasonal for that time of year)...its more than likely going to be a little windy and you're not going to get alot of pool time (if at all) anyway. If its 82 you won't care too much...and the stormalong pool is pretty cool so its an added bonus that you can use the whole thing for your stay.
