did they replace the washer dryers in the 1 and 2 bedrooms? the big question I have is: Do the the new dryers dry well? We have had a couple bum dryers in the past and I am hoping these are new ones... :)

We went to BWV the week after Thanksgiving and stayed in a rehab'd room. It was a new unit, but it took 2 drying cylces to dry one load. New machines, same old story. I am starting to think there's some manufacturer setting that they have put on them to not produce a lot of heat.

The rehab'd room was very nice. I love the new carpet in the halls too.

I used the washer/dryer last week. They looked new, the model is Frigidare. I washed 4 pairs of jeans and a sweater, it took 2 cycles for them to dry on low heat (I was afraid they would shrink on high). I don't think these small combo units are efficient but there's no room for full size (except at OKW).

I thought that the dryer was SLIGHTLY better. The units still make a lot of noise. I think that heavy stuff like jeans and sweats really taxes the dryer. Lighter weight things seemed to dry pretty well.
