:cool1: Got great deal from disser and will be at BWV 4/23-4/29 (with dining plan, yea!! :Pinkbounc ). Anyone out there with advice (don't miss, forget this) :goodvibes ?

:wave2: Thanks so much!

Have a great time!!! I don't have any "secret" advice that you probably don't already know, but I would check the calendar for EMH, so you can plan accordingly. Also, of course, don't forget to make ADRs as most TS restaurants are impossible to get into without a ressie.

Enjoy your stay!!!!

Congrats!! We love BWV. What type of room will you be staying in?

Standard Studio. I LOVE the look of the 1 bdrm villa but that will have to wait for next trip! AHHHH...gotta love the excuses for going again..."but girls...I've never gotten to stay in the 1 bdrm before.." LOL!!

I've 4 children, DD12, DD11, DD7, DS2 and this is our first stay at BWV. I was wondering about people's experiences there. Have you found it difficult to navigate the resort with multiple children? How's the pool area for both older and younger kids? Is the babysitting club still open (I don't think so)? Any experiences with the recreation options? I've heard that the BW is disappointing for tweens because they can't go in to certain establishments. Have your tweens enjoyed staying at BWV?

ENOUGH already! Thanks!!

Are you all staying in 1 studio?? That's going to be tight! We've only stayed in studios and love them. We like to bring a fitted sheet for the bed. Call us weird, but I can't stand the "fitted" sheets they use on hotel beds and since there isn't daily maid service, it makes it easier for us to make and I don't end up on the bare mattress during the night. We went and bought an ugly, cheap one that we use every trip. We also like to bring some cheap, plastic bowls and cheap metalware. You are given paper & plastic in the studios, but we like something a little more substantial for our cereal. We got some of the gladware bowls to eat out of and that way we could also store stuff in them if needed.

My DD is 11 and she loves the BW. The BW is lined with restaurants, stores, and a couple of clubs. The main draw for her is the live entertainment out on the BW in the evenings. Another thing she loves to do is go to Community Hall. I believe there is air hockey and some gaming systems on a tv. There are daily activities and movies to checkout. Your kids will be easy to keep up with in the pool area as it's not too large. Don't know about the babysitting club.

Welcome to the DIS. Have a great vacation. :Pinkbounc

Community Hall is fun. Ping pong, video games, air hockey (fooz ball?), activities to do...lot's of great stuff. The pool is great, great water slide...lots of fun.

Request a room close to the elevators....some of the rooms can be a distance from the elevator and can get exxxxxtra long after a long day at the park. If you do end up far away from the elevator/lobby, investigate the stair exits. We were staying in a room one year that was A LOT quicker to go down a flight of stairs and out an exit door. The bus stop was right accross the street. That was a lot better then walking all the way to the elevator/lobby and then down to the bus stop as might be the customary thinking.

Have fun!! Nice weather we have here huh!
