BWV location?

We'll be staying in a 2-bedroom villa at Boardwalk in July. What's a recommendation location/room number vacinity to request for? How many floors? I'd rather be on the first floor, so kids can have easier access to the pool (since that's where they'd be at all day, if they could. ...and since we'll have a rental car, I'd like to be within reason of a parking lot...if possible, but that's the least of my concerns. Any suggestions?

We have stayed several several times at the BWI and the last two times were in the villas...last Aug we had a one bedroom villa on the second floor with a pool view ...when we just went in March we had a first floor studio facing the pool...We really enjoyed being on the first floor...when we would lay our 1 yr old daughter down for a nap, we could sit on the patio...unlike a balcony we weren't stuck there...I could walk to the pool bar, or even the bathrooms across from the arcade (so I wouldn't wake my daughter)...

we're going again in August and I have already requested a first floor pool view room...I think you're kids would enjoy it more also...they can just walk out and they're at the pool...

Hi. We are going to stay at BWV for the first time in November! I can't wait! I would suggest posting some questions over on the DVC boards, especially about requests and such. Those people know their DVC resorts! We have a 1bdrm with a boardwalk view and I know those are hard to get but I imagine the pool view would be easier because there are more of them. But, are there 2bdrm units on every floor? I'm just not sure.

Put in your request now for a pool view ground level room. You really can't get close to the parking lot since it is really a hike from BW itself. Any of the rooms that would be 'closer' to the parking lot area, would be opposite from the pool area. Have fun...BWV is a great spot. We love it!
