We are staying at the Boardwalk Villas in a one bedroom villa in late January. Our reservations say Garden or Pool View. Should we request a certain room? It's myself and my wife plus our 3 children (7, 4 and 1-year-old). Convenience is more important than views...close to elevators.
Thanks

Then that is what I would ask for -- an room near an elevator.

I agree, just request close to elevator. Some of the pool/garden views are a long distance, they can be on the end near Jellyrolls, over the main pool, over the quiet pool on the end near the bus stop.

Great advice to just request a room near the elevator. That tells the room assigner exactly what is important to you. Requesting a particular room number doesn't give them that.

I can't believe how long the hallways are at BW!

Yes, just request near the elevators. There is only one block of elevators and they are near the lobby. Preferred pool/garden view rooms that are near the elevators overlook either the Village Square (on the boardwalk side) or the Luna (Main) Pool.
