BWV/ ck out day/ where to shower and/or change if spending the day?

Since I always head to the airport within a few hours of check out I don't know where to go - but I know someone will!

My sister and her boys will be checking out, having their luggage held and spending the day with friends at Epcot. In this heat, they will need to clean up and maybe change before going to dinner at Mideivel Times that evening. Where is the best place for her to do this at BWV? I know there is a huge rest room by the pool at WL because I have used that one, but what's available at BWV ? Can they use the gym facilities (boys are 6,17,21)? If so, what hours are they open- are there showers available? Thanks for any suggestions!

You know, I don't really know. My only thoguht is tell them to take a dip in the pool before they leave. Not exactly the same as a shower, but at least they'll be cooled down and refreshed. There are large restrooms near the pool where they can then change into their travelling clothes.

Just remind her to bring a few big Ziplocs for their wet bathing suits!

Yes you can use the fitness center. I'm not sure of the closing time ,it may be 6 PM. They have showers and lockers. When I asked they said people do it all the time. HTH.

Don't most pool areas have changing rooms/rest rooms with showers in them? I know they do over at BC and I think I remember them at OKW too.

Thanks for all the responses ! I would think so, too, Simba's mom - but I realized I don't know for sure at BWV even where the pool rest rooms are or whether they have showers because I've never had to use them ! Now I wonder whether they don't have a large area like some of the other pools because they have the gym down by the pool which has showers and a changing area. I'll call and find out what hours the gym is open until if that is the case.

joepoe- maybe it is a little gross, but I have to agree with Disney Doll - if there aren't showers a dip in the pool would have to do - of course they will rinse their sweaty, smelly little bodies off under the elephant spray before they get in the pool!

I know there is a bathroom/changing area near the quiet pool at BWV-(near the community hall) I didnt go in it though so Im not sure if it has a shower too.

We used the bathroom at the BW pool in June when we pool hopped...no shower. I didn't even think to use the fitness center!
