We're thinking of staying at BWV on an upcoming trip and I'm curious about the bus route. Does BWI share it's busses with other resorts? If so, does anyone know the order of the stops?

I was there 2 months ago, the bus stopped at all the epcot resorts- beach club, swan, yacht, but don't remember the order. Seemed different going there and coming back and depend on which park we were going.
And i thought SSR was bad, BWV took just as long. I wish they have bus that goes straight to the park from the resort. :goodvibes

Usually they stop at BW first, then Swan, then Dolphin. They sometimes also share with Yacht & Beach Club. I rent a car and usually only take the bus to MK.

Depending on the order we would sometimes get off at Yaht club or Swan and just walk over to BWV. But we like the walk too so was no big deal for us.pirate:

At peak times BW shares with S&D. Once in a while we saw a bus dedicated to BW but not often.

At off peak times the routes may service S&D, B&Y and BW.

agree with PPs here; BWV makes the loop of Epcot resorts and first / last depends on whether going to / from park. If I'm not mistaken, when we stayed at BWV last summer MK bus went direct from BW to MK - - you may want to ask this over on Transportation Board to get more details.

:goodvibes

We like being able to walk to Epcot + Hollywood Studios from the BW. We have also have the option of walking through epcot to take the monorail to MK. Having said all that, the buses are free and they are good. Don't be worried.

As pp above, BW shares with S&D, YC and BC. MK has a separate bus for BW and S&D. On the other busses which go to all 5 resorts. you can get off at the S&D and take the 5 minute walk over the bridge which will come in at Atlantic Dance Hall and Jellyrolls. Same with the Friendship boats from DHS. They stop at S&D, then Y&B with last stop being BW so you can save yourself about 10-15 minutes by cutting over the bridge.

I may the buses stopped at BWV, Swan, Dolphin, Yacht and BCV. Sometimes BWV was first, sometimes Swan was first....it all depends on which park you are going/coming to/from. Longest bus service out of the resorts we have stayed so far.

We've stayed there the last few summers, (going back Friday!!!) and the bus was shared by the swan and dolphin only. It may be different at less busy times.

Last time we stayed at BWV was a relatively quiet week at WDW.

We generally don't take the bus - we drive. We did try once to picup a bus to the MK. It was stopping at Swan, Dolphin, Yacht Club and Beach Club before it finally arrived - very full - at Boardwalk.

The advice we were given was to walk to the Swan to pickup the bus.....we walked to our car instead. Much faster.

For us it went directly from BW to MK (must have stopped at others before), and on the way back we got off the first stop (S/D) and walked over the bridge-not far at all. So we had direct service to and from MK. It was the same for AK except I think it stopped at BB. So no bus at all needed for EPCOT/DHS and direct service to and from MK/AK.

Understand that you do not have any busses to Epcot or Studios. You can walk to either of those or take a boat. Elsewhere it is bus and the BW busses leave very much to be desired because of sharing with other resorts. For deluxe resorts, it is abysmal. Usually the sharing to MK is with Swan/Dolphin but sometimes even that shares with YC/BC also during slow times of day. All too often, you will get on that MK bus at BW and then it will go to Swan/Dolphin and just sit at those stops for 5 minutes or more just waiting for additional passengers to show up. More than any other bus at MK, it seems to be the one that never seems to come -- I had a record wait in January of 1 hour and 20 minutes before a BW bus came to pick up at MK and driver, when asked, was unaware there was any problem with the BW bus from MK.Going elsewhere, you often share with all the Epcot resorts and it takes forever to get anywhere. BWV is my main home resort. However, its bus service gets an F.

Another thing that amazes me is, I was coming back (don't remember which park), I can see the BWV, which is right at the entrance- but the bus passed right over and made this big loop around, stopping at all the other epcot resort before my final BWV stops. I don't know why he didn't make the BWV first and then loop around the other way. But seeing BWV passes by my eyes and then had to wait 15min. for my stop.... well...:headache:

I went during one of the busiest times of the year, i.e. Spring Break week and the MK bus picked us up at BWI/BWV first, then S&D, and finally Y&B...it took like 35 minutes to get to the MK and the bus was PACKED!!!
