BWV Bus Times

Don't suppose anybody is currently staying at BWV? If so do the bus times work in your app?

Yet again our MDE won't show bus times. We get an error when trying to view them that they can't be loaded. Last summer we did a split between BLT / RIV / BWV. Bus times worked in the app at BLT and RIV but when we got to BWV the error started. In September we stayed at BCV and the error persisted. Now we will be at BWV starting today and still an error.

Last time we checked into BWV our Magicbands also didn't work on the doors. I feel like they royally messed up our check in and caused this account issue.

AFAIK, the bus times have never worked in MDE. (I have to admit, we've haven't tried it anywhere except BWV, though). We were at BWV the first part of December and the bus times still weren't working in the app. Wish they would fix that - it would be very helpful!

We didn't have any other MDE issues or Magic Band problems while we were there, though.

Thanks for the heads up. We won't waste our time on trying to get it fixed then. The interesting piece was that my sister stayed at the BWI side and they worked for her.

That's odd. Wonder how that could be? Maybe just send an email to guest relations or member satisfaction or stop at the Front Desk if you have time. Wasn't more than a minor irritation for me.

I stayed there in August, asked the front desk about it, they said it had never worked right.
I'd say file a complaint with someone, but no idea who!

AK and DS buses were shared with Yacht and Beach and we were the last picked up and the last dropped off (not sure why given we drove right by the BW entrance on our way to drop people off the the Y&B) Buses were packed. Standing and shoulder to shoulder while getting yelled at to move closer to fit more in.

We were there (BWV) 11/30 - 12/7. Didn't share any buses, and bus times at bus stop sign were right on. I don't remember buses being crowded, either. Things must really vary from week to week. We weren't on any MK buses. Did MK while we stayed at BLT.

Hopefully this bus sharing will end. It was terrible. We arrived on the 12/3 so that is strange you had a different experience. AK was 12/7 and DS was multiple times during the week and definitely at least a couple times at the beginning so those were dates you were there. I assumed it was all buses but maybe we just had really bad luck.
We were literally touching people in those buses they were so packed.
(MK was also packed and standing in the mornings but at least not shared with Y&B)
Also missed seeing the gingerbread in the lobby

When we were at WDW in November at SSR. Bus times were a little wonky. It would show unavailable, then you check 2 minutes later and the bus was going to arrive in 4 minutes. Before it would always have a time. Even when a bus just left that pick up spot.

This was our experience too, besides MK buses in the AM. That said, MK buses were pretty awful getting there. Routinely pushed back and very packed. We formed a makeshift queue, which was nice because there are no queue markers, which typically results in lots of line cutting (even GF has queue markers for buses. I don't get why BW doesn't).

This was our experience too, besides MK buses in the AM. That said, MK buses were pretty awful getting there. Routinely pushed back and very packed. We formed a makeshift queue, which was nice because there are no queue markers, which typically results in lots of line cutting (even GF has queue markers for buses. I don't get why BW doesn't).

We were the lone couple on the bus the two mornings we rode it over. That said we went at the 7a opening and were on the bus at 5:50a in the morning…..

Our experience with buses at BWV, although limited, was great. We never waited more than 5 or 10 minutes for a bus at BWV or at the park with one exception. We did After Hours on Dec. 19 and the bus was very slow to pick up the growing line at the MK bus stop. Riviera literally had 3 buses in the span of 1 minute. The last two buses left with nobody on them. Finally a bus that was sitting and waiting came over. I think the bus driver took 20 minutes inspecting the bus before coming (one would think inspection could have taken place earlier in the evening). Then she went to BC / YC (this was not a shared bus) instead of BWV. She realized what she did and just circled around and dropped us off.

The app didn't work for me either last week. We were at WL and the TV's were fairly accurate. The times would change but typically they improved and buses arrived earlier. Sometimes we shared with Contemporary and/or Campgrounds and sometimes it was just WL guests.
