BWV Boardwalk View...How Many??

Just out of curiosity, how many Boardwalk View 2BR's are there? We are planning to book a 2BR for 3 nights (Wed-Fri) for Oct 2019, but I will be using transferred points. Since I will be using transferred points, I cannot book online and I will have to wait until 9am to call MS. Because of that 1-hour delay, I'm assuming that the Boardwalk view will be booked and I will have to use the wait list. That's fine because I was planning on a pool/garden view anyways, but I figured we might as well try for a BW view since it's the same amount of points. Miracles can happen...

I knew they were all lock-offs, and figure that the studios would go almost instantly at 8am, which is why I assume that we won't get a BWV 2BR at 9am. I'm actually even a little nervous about a pool/garden view, but I have been reassured that it shouldn't be a problem if I am on the phone at 9am sharp at the 11-month window. We are going in October, but it's not over Columbus Day and we only need 3 nights so hopefully, that will play in our favor.

Pool and garden studios (and therefore 2 BR lock offs) don’t usually even book up day of 11 months out to my knowledge so I think you should be fine calling in at 9 am. Obviously things can always change but it is only standArd and Boardwalk view that I’ve seen book up instantly at 8 am. Honestly I’ve seen Boardwalk view last longer too but they may be gone by 9 am.

Probability of getting a BWV boardwalk view studio or 2BR at 9 a.m., 11 months out really depends on time of year. Generally, you have a very good chance if seeking time during the low to moderate DVC demand season that runs from the Monday after marathon weekend in Janaury to late September and a lower chance if seeking it during the high demand season from late Sep through marathon weekend in Jan. As to pool/garden view, the chances are close to 100% if seeking time during that low to moderate demand season, and very good chance during the high demand season except somewhat lower if seeking time during the extremely high demand times: the Thurs before Columbus Day to the second weekend after Columbus Day, the Thurs to Sun of the Wine & Dine Race weekend in Nov, the Thurs to Sun of the last weekend in Nov for Food & Wine, the Tues through Fri of Thanksgiving week, December 1 to 14, Dec 23 to Jan 1, and the Thurs to Sun of marathon weekend in Jan.
