I will need to work on my online classes while on vacation next week. Is the WiFi still spotty at BWV? Is there anything I can do to ensure a maximum amount of online time? Is there a main area of the resort that might pick up the signal better than in our room? I will have several posts to make and need to work on a term paper. I would estimate about one-two hours a day off and on will be needed. I’d appreciate any advice so I can make sure to meet my course needs.

With all resorts there have been mixed reports, some saying the wireless is just fine and dandy and others that it sucks. That includes BWV, which indicates that where the room is in any resort might make a difference. We were at BWV (boardwalk view, 2d Fl, Crest of Waves area) first part of January and wireless in our room was atrocious, constantly going out and coming back on after several minutes (often requiring restarting the computer just to reconnect to the wireless).

If they still have the wired system in the room, you may want to plan to hook up to that if the wireless is not good (you need to bring an ethernet cord because it is not provided anymore, or bring your own wireless modem such as an Airport Express to hook into the wired system).
