Our 18 plus hour drive to the BWV begins tomorrow and this is our first journey and we are going to drive straight thru...keep your fingers crossed...a side questions anyone every try 5 hour energy and what did ya think?
We have stayed at boardwalk before and had a few bus issues going to magic kingdom with our lil ones being tired and long wait for bus and stopping at few other resorts making it a marathon of an hour plus a few times to get back to our resort. We have a mnsshp and thinking of a way to not get 2 long of a trip back. First we were thinking cutting thru epcot and the monorail to the ttc and monorail to magic kingdom but realized it is a pretty long walk thru epcot but also by the time we leave the party epcot will be closed. Has anyone ever driven over to the ttc and jumped on the monorail and returned on the monorail after the party from the BWV? Is it a waste to drive around the corner to the ttc and I am sure the monorail will be pretty packed after the party. What do ya think buses with longer waits and few stops at other resorts or driving and the monorail?

First off, if you are going through Epcot do you have Annual Passes, if not you are going to have to use a ticket just to ride the monorail. I would so not do that.

Buses and monorail to the TTC will be packed after the party. There truly is no quick way to get out of there.

If the ferry is running to the TTC after the party, to me that is the quickest route then drive.

The monorail will not be running to Epcot after the party because Epcot will be closed.

You do know that the TTC is at the Magic Kingdom, not Epcot.

We just got back from 6 nights at BWV and really did not have an issue with the MK buses this time. They picked up first at BW and then Swan and Dolphin before going to MK. We only had one time when we hit all the EPCOT resorts and I don't know if that was a MK, DD or AK bus now but it was the middle of the morning. After the parade and fireworks this past Monday the line for PORS bus was almost back to the security checkpoints but the BW line was such that we got on the second bus that came in. BW is not one of my favorite resorts but I can't complain about the bus service this trip and it seemed there were extra MK buses running on Tuesday evening - the night of the first MNSSHP. I timed a couple of our trips and it was 20 minutes each time. We were in a room across from the bus stop and could easily see all the coming and going. Hope you have a great time.
