BWI: Who loves it, who doesn't? Got an UPGRADE!

Found this in my spam folder this afternoon, funny thing is that it went to a different email account than the one I used to book our trip.

more per night!

There's a pin code and has to be booked by 8/27.

But, here's the deal. We LOVE POFQ. But, for $33 more per night we can stay deluxe. But, it's gonna be a hard sell to DH tonight. And one more thing is that DD and her DH and DGD are booked for the same dates at POFQ, I don't really want to be staying somewhere else when they're at POFQ. I'm wondering if there's a way to apply the PIN to their reservation as well.

What to do, what to do?! All I really was waiting for was a 25% discount for our dates since FD is blacked out our week.

Personally, I would do it in a heartbeat. You're basically looking at $200.00 more and you're staying at the Boardwalk. You will have a private balcony, walking access to both Epcot and HS. You are within walking distance of all the good restaurants. The rooms are bigger and the private balcony is SUCH a nice thing to have when you want a little quiet time. The corridors are indoors, so you don't have people walking by your window looking in your room.

We LOVE POR....it was my favorite. But after staying at the GF, it's hard to go back. You would only have to take the bus to MK and AK. ( unless you have park hoppers, then you could walk through Epcot to the monorail)

Whatever you choose, you won't go wrong.... but for that small amount, I'd do it. it's worth it.

I secertly hope we get an offer for our trip in Nov.! My DH's favorite resort is CBR! i enjoyed our 07 stay there but I love a deal! If not we will be very happy there!

Well, yeah...but to me it's an upgrade, I'd never be willing to spend almost $400 per night, this offer amounts to about a 50% discount.

The biggest advantage and attraction for me is walking to Epcot and DHS, that'd be fabulous. Just waiting for DH to get home from work....

I would go with the Boardwalk! WE love it there! Next thing you know you will want to join Disney Vacation Club to stay at the Boardwalk!

BWI is my 'happy place', I love it there

I've stayed at POFQ a few times and also love it there, it's a beautiful resort, but I then 'found' the BWI and I haven't looked back lol

For the price you've been quoted I'd go with the BWI.

Don't you wish all hard choices could be this good? Congrats on getting the e-mail. We got a similar one and jumped from Pop Century to Yacht Club for about $50/night.

Just came back from a stay at BWV. If you have a chance to stay in that area, I say go for it. It is a wonderful place to stay and it makes it easy to get to/from Epcot and DHS.

We are booked at BW for next Christmas...deluxe club level

We love the Epcot area...its just so pretty w/ BC/YC/BW surrounding the lake.

I dont know if you will be able to apply your PIN to your DD ressie...I've heard in the past that you couldnt, but I dont know for sure.

Never in all of my years booking vacations have I ever received a pin code so congrats to you and I would def jump on that. Can you tell me where it comes from so I am sure not to delete anything that might be a pin? Is it Disney Destinations? Thanks and best of luck in whatever you decide!

Boardwalk is our favorite location. Like everyone else I'd say go,take the upgrade. There's a good chance if your reservations are linked you can upgrade them all. Have you called to check yet?

I love BWI so I would do this switch in a heartbeat! Especially during F&WF.

The only thing I would say is that if you really love the foodcourt and the boat to DTD, you might miss those things not being at POFQ.

I don't think you are crazy. Part of me wishes I would receive an offer like that, but I know I would probably turn it down too. We are staying at the POP which is my daughters favorite resort. I know she would be extremely disappointed if we switched.
