BWI transportation

Just curious about how long it will take for us to get around. We've never stayed at the BWI and have booked a concierge room. I'm not sure where those are located--I've looked at the map, so I'm somewhat familiar if anyone could let me know. I do know they are on the 4th & 5th floors, just not sure in what part of the resort.

I've also read it is a 5-10 min. walk to Int'l. Gateway, but what about to the bus stop and boat launch from the concierge rooms? I obviously have no clue--haven't even visited the Boardwalk before--so I don't know how large the resort is.

My M-i-L has some back and ankle issues, so I'm just trying to get an idea how far and how long to allow. Thanks!

You have to enter the BW through the hotel lobby, so I would ask to be near the elevator and the lobby. I believe concierge is on the 4th floor, but I am sure someone can correct me if this is incorrect. Anyway, asking to be as close to the lobby as possible is your best bet.

The walk to Epcot is about 10 minutes. You can take a friendship boat if you would rather not walk it, same with MGM, only the walk there is about 15-20 min.

We will be staying there next August, we have visited several times and my DH has knee problems so we always request close to lobby.

It is also a short walk out the front door down the sidewalk to the bus stop to get to AK and MK and DTD. You will love the BWI location and there is a boat right behind the hotel that will take you to Epcot, MGM and the other resorts along the boardwalk. Lots of places to eat right nearby and the boardwalk is a lot of fun at night. Ask for a room with a view of Epcot so you can watch the fireworks from your room. Have fun.
