I dont know anything about BW Inn. What about BWI with young kids? Is it more of a place for those with older children or no children?

We think it's awesome. The pool is great for young kids because it's very easy to see the entire pool. Plus it has THE best pool slide on property.

Not it our opinion. Our first stay our son was 4 he loved it then and it's still his favorite at 16.

There is literally no Disney hotel that isn't going to have many young children. First time my kids stayed at the Boardwalk (villas), they were 2 and 4. First time we took my oldest at 3 we stayed at the Grand Floridian, and yes, there are lots of kids there too.

There is plenty for young kids, from the kiddie pool and water slide, entertainment some evenings directly on the Boardwalk, plus the location for Epcot and HS is my favorite location in all of WDW.

We've stayed here with little kids. My son loved the little playground here when he was 2. The kiddie splash area is completely separate from the pool (that's a plus for some, negative for others). At night the kids loved watching the acts on the boardwalk. My son "helped" the magician one night. We took him to Flying Fish and they were super nice to him and made him a custom meal when he didn't like any of the kid's choices. He did prefer the arcade over at the Beach Club, but it is a short walk over there. What we love about the Epcot area resorts is how easy it is to go back and forth between them all.

I agree with both of the above :thumbsup2.

It's Disney. There's no such thing as a place at Disney targeted for people with no kids or even a place for kids of a certain age.

We've stayed at BWI with DGD at various ages. It's my favorite resort.

Our son has loved it since our second visit in 2012 when he was 6. Loved the clown slide and pool and shows on the Boardwalk at night. We have done split stays the last couple visits, including one that starts Saturday, but we always stay at Boardwalk for part of every visit. Love the location and being able to walk to two parks.

the only two places i would nt take my kids on disney property are the Waldorf astoria and the four seasons..I figure those folks don't want pay what they are paying to hear my kids...everyone else- including the Grand Floridian has "experienced" us
