6 of us are going to BW in March. 1st two nights in GV(all that was available) and 2nd two nights in 2BR BW view room. Is there a special wing to ask for at check in for firework views?

You need the Boardwalk View category to see the fireworks. It's not clear from your post if the GV is a guaranteed BW view.

All BWV GVs are BW view. You will have a fireworks view from both of the rooms. Upper floors have a slightly better angle for viewing both Epcot fireworks and MK fireworks.

GVs are all boardwalk view and you might want to try to get a single story GV (they have both one and two floor GVs) because the one floor is somewhat more impressive. It appears you have boardwalk view for your 2BR. That simply means you are just going to move down the hall a ways from the GVs but still have a boardwalk view wherever it is and you do not need any further special requests. All the GVs and 2BR boardwalk views can see the high fireworks at Epcot (and off in the distance quite a ways the MK fireworks).

Thanks everyone. One other question, I've seen several posts that the coffee makers use the Mr Coffee like filters, but does anyone know if the prefilled bags would work as well?

Yes, those work just fine.
