Buzz Lightyear AND our pool are closed during our

upcoming trip!
I can't belive it. I can deal with the pool at All star Movies being closed but BUZZ too?
I have been trying to potty train my son and telling him how cool it will be to go on the Buzz ride because we can't wear diapers on some rides (I know it's a lie but he's over 3 and he is so ready but stubborn).

Dang! This was the ride he most wanted to go on. Okay- I feel better now and I know we will have fun anyways.

We'll just have to go back again next year so he can ride it!

ASMO has more than 1 pool so hopefully you can still swim. Sorry about Buzz-that is the coolest ride.

Boy that is sad! Buzz Lightyear is the perfect ride for a 3 year old boy!! My sons both loved it when they were 3.

I can relate because Big Thunder Mountain Railroad was closed the last time we were there. My DS was so excited about riding it for the first time. We were both disappointed.

Like you said, you'll just have to take him back again!

I believe it is 1/4-2/8 so you should be ok. Now I have to tell DS that it will be closed for our trip.

It's closed 1/4/06 (the day we arrive) until 2/8/06.
Quite a refurbishment. I guess that's the chance you take when you go at value season.

I think he will be Ok. I just feel bad since that is the one ride he wanted to go on.

The other pool, the mighty duck pool, will be open and they are allowing ASMo guests to to ASSp and ASMu to use their pool. Maybe we will try that adventure since we have never been at those before.

I saw that this morning. I guess DH knew what he was doing when he said no Disney this January.... that is his and DS's favorite ride! They would have been very disappointed if it was down when we were there!.........P

I hope that this helps. First of all there is 13 years between our oldest son and youngest son and we all go to WDW together. Anyway, our college kids still enjoy BUZZ especially with their little brother. So your DS will have many years to enjoy BUZZ.

Buzz is great BUT it needs a refurb SO badly. Last time the gun my firnd had did not work at all, just was stuck. Many of the guns are broken. I had one that scored big-- gave me 999,999. which was sort of FUN, but 1/2 way thru ride reached that number and stopped.

But I feel your pain. I finally get back to West Coast next year for a DL trip. Pirates will be closed, AND the monorails!

My son too will be soooo dissapointed. He is not much into rides but couldn't wait for this one on our next trip (in January - thanks Jet Blue!!). I guess we'll just have to find another new favorite...
