Once again, DW wants to know if babies are allowed on laps on Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin.
Also, are there any kids' rides besides the Barnstormer that babies can't ride with their parents?

We took our 7 month old niece on Buzz in January with no problems. (other than some comments from a group of ladies in line behind us amazed that we would take a baby on  ) We did most of the other "kid" rides with her and didn't run into to any she couldn't go on.

Since you control the spinning, it wouldn't be a problem at all w/ a baby. Some babies are more sensitive to the loud noises at the rides. This is really going to determine what you will and won't be doing w/ a baby.

I took my 6 mo old on it & he loved it. There is so much for them to look at in there. It is a little loud, but not so much that I would think twice about taking an infant.

Hi! We took our 5-month-old (at the time) back in March. He had absolutely no problem going on Buzz. He wasn't scared at all! We actually took him on most everything that was geared towards families or kids. The only rides I can think of (besides the obvious like the SM's) are: tea cups, orbiter, BTMR, and the troll ride in Norway at Epcot (can't think of the name). I can't think of any others at the moment. They can ride anything that doesn't have a height requirement. His favorite was It's a Small World!

Have fun!

You can take your baby on ANYthing that doesnt have a height restriction. We took our DS on his first trip when he was 3 months. We asked about doing the parent swap at Buzz because he was sleeping. They wouldnt let us. The CM said they ONLY do that on rides with height restriction and you can take the baby on everything else. We took him on just about every single ride he could go on and he was perfectly fine. I did take him on Maelstrom in Norway too. There is one little hill, but it was fine. You would be able to do astro Orbiter and even the tea cups if you didnt spin it. It ended up being a great trip because I didnt have to sit out while everyone else rode. My DD's liked it, because they got to ride all the 'big' rides and roller coasters twice in a row with Parent Swap!!

Babies can sit on your lap, just make sure you leave enough room when the lap bar comes down. Wearing baby in a sling or snugli is great for WDW cause they can fall asleep without having to be transferred from stroller to arms and be disturbed.
