Buying WDW 14-Day Tickets for non-residing UK citizens

Hi everyone,

Looking at going back to WDW in Sept/Oct 2017, and as long as the 14-Day Ultimate Ticket still exists we'll likely be getting one as we've used these on previous trips we've taken before we moved to New Zealand in May last year. My partner and I are UK citizens, but as we currently reside in New Zealand and we're ensure as to whether we are eligible for the 14-Day Ultimate Ticket, which is UK & Ireland exclusive. This proposed trip will be to meet up with my parents, who are UK citizens and currently reside in the UK, and if they purchased the tickets for all four of us is there a rule to say my partner and I aren't eligible? I've looked in the T&C's and can't find any information about this. Does anyone know if there is an official rule about this sort of situation?

You will be fine - they need to be purchased by someone with a UK or Irish address and card. Once bought anyone can use them.

With Disney Direct, any EU adress will do (okay, it's not relevant to New Zealanders)

I just wanted to clear that up, because some readers might ask if one MUST have a UK or IE adress.

Any EU adress is accepted for bookings on WDTC UK/IE even though the wording states "resident of the UK and IE only"

When I emailed them a few years back, inquiring if I could buy 14 days tickets, and/or free dining packages from France or other EU countries, here's what they answered.

Thank you for your enquiry. You are indeed eligible for all packages, promotions, and benefits outlined on our International Site. The reservation you have described would be fulfilled quite simple. When you arrive at the WALT DISNEY WORLD® Resortto begin your stay all of your dining and Theme Park admission will be included with your room key at reception.

WDTC UK is "disney international". As long as your country is present in their country selection dropdown menu on their billing page, you're fine to book with them. (and the country lists all of EU countries, but sorry for the Swiss, they're not EU, so need to call, even though WDTC UK will gladly take the booking over the phone)

Here's what's on the payment page :

If you reside outside of the European Union please visit your local travel provider for information on Walt Disney World or to book your holiday

Ticket brokers like ATD will ship to new zealand though.
Just note that one is not supposed to book those tickets with a US/CA adress. That's the *only* clear restriction

Just to echo the above replies, you'll be fine. On our trip last August, we were a group of 6 including my father, who is non-UK resident. We've booked using my UK address and all was absolutely fine.
