Buying US tickets?

Although its a little over a year till our trip I would like to go ahead and buy our Universal Studios Tickets, I dont think they ever expire either, do they? But anyway where can I get them at the best price?

You can probably find more information on this at the Universal/Island of Adventure board. Those people helped us plan our vacation there. I think it all depends on how long you want to go, but they're doing something right now where you get 5 days for essentially the price of 2. I don't know if they expire or not. Good luck!

The absolute best price per ticket is the MasterCard deal that gives you 5 -day passes for the price of 4.

Universal 5 for the Price of 4

If 5 tickets is more than you need, there's an offer from Kraft that knocks $8 off the online price of the 5-day Universal Bonus Pass.

Finally, if you go to the Universal website an look at Multi-Day tickets but don't make a purchase, a pop-up will appear when you leave the page that offers the $5 off the cost of each pass.

The 5-day bonus passes are good for 5 consecutive days of visits to the 2 Universal parks. The passes themselves have no expiration date until they are activated. Once activated, they expire within 5 days.

The cost for these passes is the same for both adults and children. The order goes directly thru Universal, regardless of the offer. Shipping is extra but passes can be picked up via electronic willcall for $2 per order. Prices quoted on the sites do not include sales tax.

I hope this helped.

We are only going to spend 2 days there. One at IOA and the other at US. The 5 day offer would be too much for us. Do you happen to know a good deal somewhere on the regular tickets?

My DBF just renewed his AAA membership and received an offer to buy a 2day you get a 3rd day free plus you get an additional 3 day ticket for free. There was a code on the advertisement but it might be worth contacting AAA about.

The 5-day passes are actually cheaper than the 2-day/2-park passes. Probably because they expire after they are activated. The 2-day/2-park passes never expire, even if you've used a day.

I used the Kraft or AAA 5 day bonus pass link - don't remember which one for sure.

I read that Sam's Club also has them, but I can't find them on the web site.

I received the same offer as autumnblue's friend from AAA: get a 3rd day free on one ticket, then get a free ticket(another 3-day pass.) But upon further investigation, it seems all 3 days have to be used within 1 week, so I could not use 2 days on one trip, and save the third day for the next trip(which is really what I want to do). Also, I think the offer is for just 1 free ticket(regardless of how many you purchase). My kids received the 2-year Preferred annual pass for Universal from the Easter Bunny, so we want to add a few days at the end of 2 Disney trips at Universal, but we will need to purchase tickets for relatives and friends. I will likely end up purchasing through AAA though, as I haven't found a better deal.
