buying tickets online or publix?

We're headed down on Sunday for a quick 2 day trip, but still need tickets. Are the tickets you can buy at publix actual tickets, or do they need to be exchanged at the gate? If I buy online direct, can I pick up the tickets at cabana bay? Im buying fl resident passes, so it doesnt appear that i can just print them at home. Just trying to save as much time as possible on Sunday morning. Thanks for any help!

Florida residents have to show proof of residency at the ticket booths to get their tickets. You can't get them through the kiosks. Are the publix tickets special for Florida residents or are they just the same for everyone?

• Buy your tickets online
• Verify Blockout dates
• Pick up your tickets at any ticket window at Universal Studios Florida or Universal's Islands of Adventure theme parks
• Present your order confirmation with proof of Florida residency for each ticket

Proof of Florida Residency

Each guest must present a valid Florida ID per ticket purchased.

Please provide one of the following:

• Florida Driver's License
• Florida State-issued ID card (must have Florida address)
• Florida voter's registration card with corresponding photo ID
• College ID from a Florida college or university with corresponding photo ID

They're fl resident tickets. Theres a display in store with emphasis on the 1/3 month free offer on aps. I just havent actually looked closely at it.
