Buying Tickets for Disneyland

Hi, Just wondering where people buy tickets from Australia for Disneyland. I'm after 3 day park hoppers. So I can see from Disney themselves, expedia, aRes and Park Savers. Park Savers is definitely the cheapest, and they are recommended by Disney Tourist Blog and Touring Plans. Has anyone used them, or can recommend someone else. You hear on the boards how great Undercover Tourist is for WDW and have ordered from there before, but not sure about Disneyland. Haven't really heard anything about Park Savers on here.

We just bought from the Disney website. Easy to print out at home and just hand in at the turnstiles.

We purchased ours from Escape Travel - they had a special on the 3 day passes, buy 3 get 5 days. Not sure if they still have it but its a good deal if you want to hang around a little longer!

Thanks for your advice. I ended up buying them at parksavers.com. They email you vouchers that you just exchange at the ticket box there. The reviews were all pretty positive on google and they were recommended by touring plans and a few others. They were cheaper by $100 US than if I had have bought them direct from Disneyland. Unfortunately, we only have 3 days for Disneyland, as well as 6 days for WDW and MNSSHP and a 7 day Disney cruise. I think we should get enough Disney. I'm very excited, as this weekend I bought tickets for Disneyland, WDW and Universal Studios. I bought the other 2 from Undercover Tourist.

You can never get enough Disney :jumping1: It sounds like a great dose of it though! I need to get tickets for Universal California, do you think I'd save anything by getting them prior to going?

Just wanted to say thank you to WearegoingtoAmerica because I ended up buying my 2 day park hoppers from Park Savers yesterday! I had only heard of aRes before which would have only saved me $4. I ended up saving $10 through Park Savers! Obviously not a huge saving but every little bit counts :)

I'm looking at three or four days. For four days, Ares wins by $28, for three days, Park Savers wins by $20.

I would definitely look at what it costs to get them prior to going. Sometimes it is, sometimes not. 2 years ago, we were just going to California Adventure Park for 1 day (not doing Disneyland). It was cheaper to buy them there.

Yes, I think aRes had 4 days for the price of 3. 3 full price days, so not as big a saving as I was thinking. I was buying 8 tickets, so any difference turns into a big difference.

With a price increase looming... to buy or not to buy, that is the question! (Money in the bank earning interest for longer, vs a saving of a few bucks... need to get my calculator out ;) )

In December 2012 my family and I spent 4 nights near Universal Studios California. We bought annual passes at a local Costco for only $69.99. Gate admission price for a single day entry at the time was $80!!! The annual passes at Costco come and go, so there is no guarantee you could get them, plus you have to be a Costco member. But it's something worth thinking about. Also, it's usually cheaper to buy Universal passes online than at the gate.
