buying resturant gift cards questions please

I want to get 50.00 in gift cards from mimi's and 50.00's from millie's has anyone gotten these and if so are they hard cards or just a piece of paper? I would hate to loose them and wanted to add them to my lanyard if there hard cards ( like disney gift cards.
we will be eating at these resturants in the mornings before the park opens and maybe at night when parks close for snack or deserts.. I figure its going to save me tons instead of eating in the parks all the time. and mimi's breakfasts look sooooo good!!

ok, so I take it you all have not gotten them before.. well I went ahead and ordered them, one for the rainforest cafe.. 50.00 and if there is money left over we will use it to get a toy or a shirt.

Mimi's... we plan to do breakfasts here so I ordered a 50.00 card ( there breakfasts are very cheap! )

Milli's..... we will be doing a few dinners here or lunches if we leave the park. Always a after the park closing snack to .

RFC cards are hard, I get these all the time for our trips to DL, Mimi's are also hard I believe, I've never had one for Millie's so can't say for sure.

Thanks, I did order all my cards today, and I got a tony Roma's to. I have never been there but the menu looks tasty.

We used to have a Tony Romas, as best as I can remember it was very good. It's been years tho so I don't really remember. One thing to know is at RFC the portions are normally very large. DBF and I can get a Maya's combo, share it and be stuffed.....we are also Safari club members so we do get a free appetizer but even without that we are full after eating that combo.

We used to have a Tony Romas, as best as I can remember it was very good. It's been years tho so I don't really remember. One thing to know is at RFC the portions are normally very large. They are some of the best ribs I have ever had!!! I always get maya's Combo with Chix, shrimp, and Mojo bones!!!

Oh yes, they are verrrry good, and they give extra BBQ sauce on the side.

Us too, but last time we went with the shrimp and steak, it was good too but we both felt you get more with Maya's combo.

May I ask why you are buying gift cards instead of just paying when there? Trying to learn if there is a benefit I am not aware of. Thanks!

Im buying them as I have extra money after paying my bills. Instead of having an extra 50.00 I may spend ( usually the kids want something or its just there to spend) I get the cards for where we eat, that way the money is spent on our trip, and not left for me to blow I am bringing money to, just thought I would get the gift cards also to put in our photo albums next to the pictures of the foods, and us enjoying. Sort of a "trip report with in a trip report" we do not have tony roma's or milli's or mimi's any where here, so in the photo album will be the card, and us enjoying the meal there, along with rain forest, milli's and tony roma's and its just easy for me to get them with the extra cash I have on hand.

That's why I buy gift cards too. It seems to work out better for us. I plan to buy a few for this trip and will either do Disney GC or Disney $ for the dining within the park.

We no longer have Tony Romas here so we went there last time I visited. It was decent but not as good as people say. Their gift cards are hard plastic.
